I have also seen monarchs make a small gesture to the appropriate 
pillow. This helps the seasoned and new member pick the correct pillow 
depending on which royal is taking the lead with the gentle. Adding a 
slight shifting of the pillow as they approach would also give the 
anxious a clue about their destination.
