This post is four-fold - one announcement and 3 ISOs:

First I wish to announce that due to popular request, there will be a demonstration of period fire arms at WoW2. Numerous individuals have requested to see some of my pieces in action and I am please to say that through conversations with the autocrat and the equestrians A time of 2:30 to 3:30 as been arranged for the discharge of said period weapons. The current location of the demonstration is to be on the parking lot side of the tourney field. Please verify with Troll Saturday morning that it has not moved in consideration of the horses. 
Adults 18 and over will be allowed to try one of these weapons (see my home page for the serpentine lock to be used - www.geocities.com/wolfram_von_taus/) provided they have signed the standard SCA waver form AND have contacted me ahead of time (MeisterWolfram at carolina.rr.com) to be scheduled and ensure a reserve of powder. A small donation of 50¢ per charge is requested (to cover the consumables at time of use) up to a maximum charge of 150 grain (3 charges) per use. I happily accept 3/8"-1/2" diameter 100% cotton or hemp rope in lieu of this donation. If you’re a black powder enthusiast, bring your own FFF commercial grade black powder (NO SMOKELESS POWDER!) and leave your coin pouch at your tent.
