I believe it would have to be done "privately" - i.e. yes, the herbalists
guild of the Barony of Let'sGetTheKnowledgeOut could hold a silent auction
to benefit Professor Harding's excavation at their event. But the money
should not go thru SCA accounts.
OF course, I could easily be wrong - I've been known to err on the more
stringent interpretation of IRS and SCA laws.
