Fall seems to be finally getting here and no doubt many of us are  
looking forward to the Holiday Season.

If you want to get a head start on that Holiday Spirit, remember that  
recommending someone deserving of an award is not only an excellent  
"gift" for the person you are recommending, but for all of Atlantia  
as well. Many worthy individuals serve our beautiful Kingdom in many  
ways and some may do it so quietly that we tend to overlook them-  
sometimes for for far too many years. Recommending someone for an  
award has many benefits and you will feel marvelous after taking the  
time to do it.

I ask that you please look around your Barony, Shire, Canton, Guild,  
etc. and think about who may be ready for an award.  Then go to:
http://www.atlantia.sca.org/ and click on the Online Recommendation  
Form. Fill out the form as best as you can- if you don't know all of  
the information, fill the out form with as much as you do know and  
submit it. We will receive the recommendation almost immediately and,  
I assure you, I go over the recommendations list several times a week.

Since We are trying to give the Excellent and Hardworking Scribes of  
Atlantia at least two weeks to get scrolls done for an event, please  
try to post the recommendation with at least that much lead time  
before whatever event it is that you know Our good subject will be  
attending. I cannot promise that every recommended award will be  
granted, however the more recommendations that We receive about an  
individual the better.

It is My fondest wish that Atlantia celebrate all things and Everyone  
that makes this Kingdom exceptional and great. Take a moment this  
evening to help make that celebration a reality.
