a series of elimination Round Robins. Participation in
this tourney will qualify you to compete (if selected)
in Round II. Writs of Summons will be given out at
Saturday evening court for Sundays Tourney.
Round II (Sunday) will be a 32 man, Double Elimination
Tourney, by Invitation Only. Entrants are encouraged
to bring their banners, pennons, and heraldic surcoats
for a Heraldic March of Precedence to take place
before the tourney to add to the splendor and pomp of
the day. There will be a teaching/bearpit field open
for those that did not qualify for the Second Round,
but do not wish to watch the tourney.
** Ravine Battle: 45 minutes. Two teams will be
selected with roughly even numbers for a Capture the
Flag Battle. Resurrections will be by timed release
for both sides.
*** Novice Tourney: The Order of the Kraken will
sponsor a Novice Tourney open to all fighters who have
been fighting for one year or less, from the date of
their initial authorization. Format will be determined
by the number of entrants.
****St. Aiden Heraldic Display Team Tourney. A team
tourney, fought in the open field, with points for
heraldic display, having a herald for the
processional, etc. More information to follow from St.
