Something written on someone's journal, locked or not, is NOT an "official"
SCA anything. People have the right to state their opinions in their
journal. It's theirs. Now, granted, it would probably be a good idea to
lock the journal, but it still stands. It's not official, and it's a rant.
We all have them. Locked journals are only for those who are allowed
access; and it's upto those people to keep what they read private. Not
everyone is that smart, unfortunately.

But whether it be a Kingdom Seneschal or a member of the bod, they are still
humans outside of the SCA and they are prone to rants and etc. like the rest
of us. AMany of us who have journals have, at one time or another, "stepped
in it", it happens and we have all had to deal with the fallout of what
we've written. If you'rre willing to write it, then you have to deal with
it.

But no one should have to be "on" as a member of the BOD, or an officer on a
24/7 basis.
