Nicely worded and effectively presented.  We would all do well to take  a 
breath before we jump to take offense.  It is an unfortunate truth that  far more 
discomfort comes into the world by people taking offense than by people  
actually trying to offend others.  Courtesy, it would seem to me, demands  that we 
give others the benefit of the doubt (a venerable tradition).  If  you feel 
offended check it out, preferably one on one.  It may not be as  entertaining 
as rounds of flamethrowing but it's certainly more effective at  clearing the 
air. ;-)
