**PLEASE CROSSPOST also as appropriate and necessary. By the way, my
apologies to those getting this two or three times.***

Greetings once more to Atlantia!

I was actually asked by a C&I laurel if they were allowed to contribute
pieces to the scroll blank competition, even though they didn't want to
compete and detract attention from the more novitiate artists. Which got
me thinking about all those poor Laurels who don't enter competitions any
more so that newer artists don't get discouraged. And how they're always
getting asked to judge.

So in the spirit of impishness with which my poor laurel is sorely tried, I
am adding a category to the competition.

1) Laurels ONLY! (And no, you don't have to be a C&I laurel to play. But
it will likely help.) Same rules apply as regards the scroll blanks,
except that documentation (even of a minimal sort) IS required. Judging
will be done by popular vote of the apprentices of Atlantia. (who also do
not have to be C&I apprentices) Names will not be taken to protect the
guilty. Comments might be left. Participation prizes will still be
given!

Remember, it's all for the glory of Atlantia.

Livia Zanna,
Scrivener Royal
Apprentice to Maestra Lucia Bellini
