At Wastelands on Jun 23, I had the honor to serve as herald when
Valharic and Arielle did hold their Court. Herein follows my reporting
of the business which They saw fit to conduct.

1. Upon opening their Court, Valharic and Arielle did call forth Lord
Greylond Crowe to bestow upon him an Award of the Opal for the service
which he renders constantly and frequently.

The Company of the Silver Spindle came forward then to present Her
Majesty with a shawl woven of handspun wool and to present a pouch woven
of the same to His Majesty.

Newcomers were then summoned forth, and a veritable slew of them did
appear. They were welcomed to the Society and to our fair Kingdom and
presented with commemorative scrolls.

The children of Atlantia were called forth. A toy box was presented and
taken to the back, to share with the children the largesse of the realm.

2. Callidore of Sacred Stone was called nest, and praised for the
service which he has rendered in several offices for the Canton of
Charlesbury Crossing. Such service is worthy of note, and he was
therefore raised to the ranks of the nobility.

3. Lady Graçia Esperança de Sevilla was summoned into the presence of
the Imperatrix, who praised greatly her service to the Queen as one of
her ladies in waiting. Her Majesty did then award Lady Graciella with
the first Undine of her Reign.

4. Cael the Vain came forward at the command of his King and was also
awarded Arms for his eager and enthusiastic help in the kitchen
wheresoever he sees need.

5. Next, Lorelei of Crois Brigte was asked to join their Majesties.
Valharic did praise her skill with the bow and with teaching the same,
and joined her to the ranks of the King's Missileers.

6. Baron Wulfstan Egweald heard the summons of their Majesties and came
forward. His skill with pen and brush was praised, as was his research
into period cartography. His Majesty also extolled the virtues of both
flat and raised gilding, declaring that while he did not know the
difference he had it on excellent authority that his subject could
enlighten him thereupon. Before releasing the Baron, the King did
bestow upon him the Order of the Coral Branch.

7. Lord Bassi inn Fiskni Einarsson then answered the summons of the King
and came forward. His skill with the bow was praised as well and he was
also added to the ranks of the King's Missileers.

8. Arielle then summoned forth Lady Katerina Sina Samovicha, praising
also her service as a lady in waiting, and awarding her as well with an
Undine.

9. Lord Talorgen nei Wrguist was then called forward, and I joined their
Majesties in court. After speaking of service which I have given, their
Majesties then saw fit to make me a Baron of their Court.

Her Majesty then spoke to the assembled populace, encouraging all of us
to speak to those around us, to discover the friends that might be
coming to the very same events that we do. Her speech was much more
flowery and inspiring than my poor report here.

As there was no further business, Their Majesties closed their court.
Lady Amye Elizabeth Barrington did assist with the heralding duties.
Ceridwen of Taylorwood served as Silent Herald.

The above is a true recounting of the business conducted on 23 Jun at
the Wastelands tourney by Valharic and Arielle, Imperator et Imperatrix
Atlantia. Any errors are solely mine, and I will be happy to accept
such corrections as may be necessary.

Baron Talorgen nei Wrguist
