You might want to look at the mon I passed years ago, then.

Requiring that something be *describable* in a specific context  
doesn't mean it has to be locked into a small box formed of that stuff.

And, for the record, "artistic style" is not registerable, so if you  
want a Viking-style depiction of a raven, GO FOR IT. All that matters  
is the position be blazonable; the actual style is up to you.
