Sacred Stone Baronial Birthday Celebration (Aug 24-26) is a learning  
experience for everyone who attends. Not only will Champions be chosen for the  
Barony, but Various elements of the event will shine a light on the effects that  
Trade between Cathay, India, Iraq, Persia, Egypt, Italy, Iberia, France and all 
 the others had on the various cultures.
 
This learning extends to our Feast . . . Prepared by Lady Makai, it will be  
a culinary journey out the Silk Road and back again. Seats for feast are only 
$5  but will be available Pre-Reserved only in order that food may be 
purchased and  prepared properly. Reservations for feast must be received by Saturday,

The rough menu (all but one of the dishes is documentable to period and  
DELISH)  includes the following:

 
Course 1 - Italy:
salad, bread & cheese

Course 2 -  Byzantia:
baked chicken, sauteed greens

Course 3 - Persia:
lentil  soup, couscous (perhaps babaganoush as well)

Course 4 - Cathay:
5  spice pork. steamed cabbage

Course 5 - Italy:
Strawberry pie
