Thank you for relaying the news, albeit sad. 
 
I remember Sir Patri from my early days in the SCA and he was always leading the dancing at any event that had space for it.  This picture is how I always remember him:  http://www.tirydon.org/gallery/default.aspx?do=item&id=1255  He's the gentleman in grey, leading the dancing at King Aonghais and Queen Ysabeau's Coronation.

I just heard from my sister, who still leaves Up East, that one of the
Brightest Lights of the SCA has gone out... Dr. Patri J. Pugliese,
known in the SCA as Patri du Chat Gris, appears to have passed away
yesterday.  :-(  The dance and fencing world has lost a wonderful
teacher, friend, advocate and mentor, if this is so...

Does anyone have any more up-to-date information?
