My daughter's history class includes an assignment to "interview someone who was a hippie in the '60s."

During the '60s, I was too young, plus I lived in a part of West Virginia where they skipped the '60s altogether. So I reach out to my friends in the SCA in the hopes that one or (probably) more of you (a) have hippie cred and (b) would be willing to respond to not-more-than-six written questions about your experiences.
