Thank you Majesty for your response.
I'm glad others were able to help prepare for a vigil
but since it was mentioned here I will say that
speaking as a scribe I have always been sworn to
secrecy. So if others knew are you suggesting it was
their responsibility to help spread the word? Or were
you just making the point that more than one person
knew? Had I known ahead of time as a scribe I would
not have considered the idea of spreading the word. I
see myself as a secretary working on confidential
business that is not mine. It's not my signature at
the bottom.
I'm trying to understand your meaning of a writ. What
has worked for us before is bringing the person into
court for the announcement and announcing the vigil's
date at the same time. Were you suggesting the same
thing? The initial announcement is still a surprise.
A surprise vigil makes for an exciting day but more
than once people have felt left out and have had hurt
feelings. With travelling expenses getting so high
not everyone can afford to travel to every kingdom
event. I can and try to bring as many as I can but
often I don't know till the last minute that I can.
When notifying the person's peer of an elevation could
it also not be possible to notify the principal? Is
that happening now? Maybe that would help get the word
out to the appropriate people.
I am sorry that people didn't talk to you directly.
Since I don't know the lady especially well I was
unaware of the controversy myself until later but I
think this instance is mostly an example of a
conversation that has gone on for years.
