[MR] Bookbinding and goldsmithing question

Does anyone have any informational links they could share with me on
bookbinding and goldsmithing?  I am interested in the jewel/gold-bound
manuscripts such as the Lindau Gospel.  Off-list replies are preferred
so as not to take up too much bandwidth.
