My brilliant minion, Chagan Khulan (Karen Summerfelt-Hume), has come up with
an amazingly easy way of cleaning bones. After watching a chicken's meat
fall off the bones when she came home from work one day, she had me put the
deer bones she'd acquired in a crockpot. After leaving them alone on low for
10
hours, voila! Everything fell off the bones, and all I had to do was a wee
bit of finishing work with a stiff brush. Sure beats the other methods I've
tried.

Good morning Atlantia,
I would like to tag on to a message that Mistress Genevieve posted.
We are missing Atlantia's first Coronets. These coronets date from when we
were still a principality. They are silver, very narrow bands, lightweight with
'pearl' rondels sticking up from the bands.
These coronets served throughout the principality years and then became the
coronets of the prince and princess. They were retired when we got the seashell
coronets.
My guess is that when they were retired, someone put them into safe-keeping
because they had become extremely fragile and really needed to not be worn
anymore. If you know where they are, please contact Mistress Genevieve or
myself. These are probably the oldest pieces of regalia we have and they are
precious to our kingdom's history. We would like to see them on display at our
25th anniversary celebration at Sapphire Joust. If anyone has a picture of the
coronets, please post it - it is always possible that whoever has them in
storage does not know what theya re.
Thank you all for your help in this most important matter,
  HRM Seonaid

Greetings to the tavern,

I recently discovered that Robin and I will not have transportation to
Hero's Portion this coming weekend. We were hoping to camp and I think Robin
planned to fight. We live in Hampton. Do any of you good gentles have space
left in your vehicles for 2 people and some gear?

Please let me know.

Thanks in advance,

I've been playing around with the idea of doing a parody of those "American by
birth (insert name here) by Grace of god" bumper stickers. The problem is I've
never been able to come up with any wording that immediately sticks out as being
perfect. I've been toying around with "American by birth, Atlantian by Award of
Arms" which seems ok and I'll probably use that but I want to make a second
version of the sticker using either Atlantian or Scadian that has a better
catchphrase.

So my question to all the word smiths out there. What is a good "by ______"
that sums up what makes you Atlantian or Scadian?

For various reasons, Azurmont's Feast of St. Pyr's event has had to be
cancelled. Apologies to anyone for any inconvenience this causes. Also, I
apologize to the list if this has been posted before.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Thanks

Methinks too the opening line should be "Scadian by birth/worth/mirth . . ."

Years ago (Early 1980's) in Meridies there were bumperstickers that said
"SCA by choice, Meridies by the Grace of God."
