1 - Given the comments they made at the last BoD meeting, held here in
Richmond, VA, their offices are *far* from palatial.

2 - Third class postage is fairly standard for newsletters of any
organization.  Given that the SCA now has, hmmm, what was the number,
52,000+ paid members and almost as many non-paid but active members,
dropping rent for their offices down to $0 wouldn't be enough to cover a
change in postage.

And for anyone that wants to complain about such stuff, you missed a great
opportunity to talk to the BoD members in person.  It's sad that only 12 of
us out of the whole kingdom took advantage of the opportunity to interact
with them.  But it's also very typical.  *shrug*
