Our Good King Richard, Ruler of all England, has been held prisoner these long months.  His brother, Prince John, is working hard to raise his ransom.   We know the new taxes have been a burden to some, but it is the duty of every man, both Norman and Saxon, to help free their King. Therefore, to help ease the burden, the Sheriff has declared April 21st- 23rd, festival days in Nottingham, with games, fighting and fun for all.  You may pay your taxes at the collection site at the Blue Boar Inn.  The Sheriff warns travelers to be on the look out for the Rogues, Robin Hood and the men of Sherwood, they are wanted and when these outlaws are captured, the Sheriff will hang them. ...
