My  Lords and Ladies, once again, I would like to remind you of the upcoming  
tournaments for Sacred Stone Baronial Birthday.

To celebrate the Barony  of Sacred Stone's 24th  Birthday, Baron Marc
has decreed that grand  tournaments be held at the Castle in Elchenberg 
(Elkin, NC) on 8-10 September,  AS XXXXI.

On the Night of September 8th, we will  celebrate our Baronial Birthday with 
a Bear Pit Torch Light  Tournament. This Tournament will begin around 10pm

On the  Morning of September 9, both heavy and rapier fighters will work 
their magic on  the crowds. 
 
Rapier fighters will have a Round Robin Tourney which Lord Raphael de la  
Rosa will coordinate! 
 
Heavies will also take the field in a Round Robin style of  Tournament. The 
fun begins at 11am.   

The 3-Man  Tournament will be a Bear pit style tourney. This tournament will  
start  a half hour after the Round Robin tournament ends.

Wounds  retained.  No more than one Knight will be permitted per team and 
each team  must have a herald. That Herald will announce his/her team for each 
round.  The winning team's Herald shall collect a token from the Marshal.  The 
team  with most tokens will win the Tournament.

Extra points for the day will  be awarded on the following:

1.  If the team represents a Barony,  and the Baron or Baroness is
fighting:  2 tokens will be  awarded

2.  If the team has a large banner to represent them,  carried by a
member of the team to the field:  1 token will be  awarded

3.  If the container made for the tokens is of a period  nature
for the team (Chest, basket, wooden bucket, etc.): 1  token

4.  If there is a large crowd in the colors of the team  cheering
loudly: 1 token

5.  Finally,  2 tokens will be  awarded if the Baroness of Sacred Stone is  
really
entertained!!!
