of course the irritation of individual owners of stock
animals will need to balance their annoyance against
the need to protect the food supply from disease
outbreaks. one should note the it will become
difficult or impossible to sell animal products
overseas without a modern system of food source
tracking. 

as this discussion is getting modern-ly political,
perhaps it is not the best discussion to have on an
SCA mailing list.
