I believe that the comments that are being referred to as 'attacking'
were ones buried deep in the original posting. Which I personally agree
the tone was out of order on.
Dun Carraig has done nothing wrong. Event weekends are first come,
first serve. Also Dun Carraig has traditionally always had an event
'around that time' for much longer than Holiday Faire has existed.
The real fact that exists, is that Northern Atlantia has far too high of
a population density, and therefore group density (Just take a look at
the Frappr site for it). When you take this into account, and a history
for every group feeling the need to put on 3+ events a year ... suddenly
there is always a conflict, and some group's event getting bounced, for
almost every weekend.
The only real solution, is for groups to stop having so many events, and
instead concentrate on putting on a fewer number (even if by 1), but
more effort/planning/etc put into each one.
For reference, here are the comments that I referred to, that I do feel
were out of line:
