Since the going debate seems to be over non-period terms and vocabulary, why don't we all just go to using the official language, in-period, of each of our personas?

If we're truly going to get this uptight about little things like troll, and THL and stuff, that's been used for years and years (I've been around for almost 15yrs, and so has troll, dragon, THL, etc.), then do it truly right. Learn to speak and truly act as your chosen persona.

If you aren't willing to learn your period language, i.e. Latin, Old English etc., why make such a fuss over little things.... I though we were "anachronistic" (the "A" in SCA) anyway?!?

It seems that some just want to take the fun out of everything...
