As the leaves turn each season, so too must the leadership of our Barony.
The populace of Highland Foorde invites you to the Investiture of Lord
Llewellyn gan Barfog and Baroness Isbella Stere as our new Baron and
Baroness! The day will be filled with pomp and circumstance, so bring out
your finest dayshades, your brightest garb, and your merriest music!

Martial Activities: Heavy weapons and archery will be the martial
activities for the day. Sir Tascius Severian Fabius will be in charge of the
heavy fighting, and The Honorable Lord Siegfried Sebastian Faust will run
archery.
Chirurgeon and waterbearing: Lady Anne la Settere will be Chirurgeon in
Charge, and is inviting any interested Chirurgeon Apprentices to work the
event with her. Cristofana di Lorenzo will be serving as Chief Waterbearer
and will need folks to give her a hand keeping the fighters well hydrated.

Arts & Sciences Activities: The local Baronies and Households are invited to
display the best and brightest of their dayshades, retainers, livery, and
finery. The group with the best display, to be decided by the new Baronage
of Highland Foorde, will be rewarded with a gift basket filled with many
fascinating things.
The colors of Highland Foorde will be a theme, of red and blue with gold and
silver.
There will be other A&S activities scheduled, so please check the website
for more information on A&S activities as they are posted.

Cost Notes: Adult member site fee only is $6. Adult member site fee and
feast is $13. Adult nonmember site fee is $9. Adult nonmember site fee and
feast is $16. Children 6-17 site fee is $2. Children 6-17 site fee and feast
is $9. Children under 6 are guests of the Barony of Highland Foorde. Maximum
family site fee is $16, there is no family maximum on feast. Camping is
available and there is no additional charge for camping.

Site opens at 6pm Friday, September 23, 2005 and closes at noon on Sunday,
September 25, 2005.
Site Restrictions: No pets allowed and site is dry. Camping is allowed in
designated areas. No additional fee to camp for the weekend.
Feast Information: The talented members of House Blackstar will provide a
delectable feast for your consumption. No one ever goes away hungry from a
feast that House Blackstar prepares. Please contact the autocrat with any
dietary concerns.
Merchanting Information: Merchants are welcome and encouraged to come
display their wares. There is no separate fee for merchanting, so please
come thrill us with your tents and tables full of tantalizing temptations!
Other Information: The deadline for pre-registration is September 10. After
September 10 the site fee for day-trip will be $7 for adults, $3 for
children, but the feast fee will remain $7 per person. The only reservation
is a paid reservation, and feast spots will fill quickly.

Directions: Take I 70 toward Hagerstown, MD. Take exit 28 onto MD 632N
toward Hagerstown. Stay on MD 632, it will become Maryland Avenue. At the
3rd light, turn LEFT onto Wilson Blvd. At the next light turn RIGHT onto
Virginia Avenue. Pass the park on the left, then go 3/4 around the circle
onto Highland Way (end of park). Follow to Hager House Museum on the RIGHT.
>From the SOUTH:
Take I 81N to Maryland Exit 2 (Route 11). Veer right at the top of the exit,
and follow Virginia Avenue (Route 11) to the circle onto Highland Way (end
of park). Follow to Hager House Museum on the RIGHT.
