Greetings one and all,

I hope this letter finds you all in good health and spirits.

I got a message telling me that someone has written a book about the SCA
and I am in it.  I was somewhat versmeckled to hear this. After all
while I have been in the SCA a fair number of years I haven't done
anything that is that noteworthy to write about.  Well it's true but my
part is appropriately small. The book is mostly about our very own Count
Valharic.

While his narative does jump back and forth in time a lot, it seems to
be a even-handed account of the author's journey through the SCA. 

He spent most of his time in the Midrealm so I'm not sure how it is he
took a heraldry class from me in Atlantia but he did.  He says that I am
"... a bushy-haired Scot with a screaming hatred of the English." I
would like to go on record that I do NOT have a screaming hatred for the
English, maybe the French :-) but not the English.  OK, that was a joke.
I don't have a screaming hatred for anyone.  All in all he got my part
right.  I can not speak as to whether he got the rest right.
