[MR] Chalice of the Sun God -- Results

Greetings Atlantia!

Despite the ominous weather Friday night, Saturday dawned with only light
rain that cleared by midmorn.  And we were blessed with a fine day and
heroic competitors who fought valiantly in the Second First Annual Chalice
of the Sun God.

Our Chalice Champions are:

Heavy: Connel MacLeod
Rapier:  Marcellus Capozzelli di Napoli
Archery: Siegfried Sebastian Faust
A&S: Belphoebe de Givet
Bardic: Cassandra Arabella Girodani

The team competition, consisting of 17 entries, ended in a three-way tie,
and after the tie-breaking Assassin's Tourney, the winning team and current
holders of the Chalice of the Sun God is Team "Walking Wounded," consisting
of Kevin of Thornbury, Marsalli Johnston, Brian Murray, Edana MacKay, and
Damiane.

A Lost and Found list is being compiled and should be posted here in a day
or so.

Many, many thanks to all who came, and all who participated.  Most
especially I want to thank my staff for this event, each of whom went above
and beyond the call of duty to make this event successful.  You all are MY
heroes.

In conclusion -- get ready for next year, when you'll see "Chalice II: The
Posiedon Adventure!"
