Pennsic isn't really an SCA event, not like "regular" SCA events in that
many folks who attend aren't really SCA members.

My understanding is that there are lots of non-SCA groups that come and
participate at Pennsic.

That isn't to point any blame at other groups!  Just pointing out that
"standard SCA cultural behaviour" at Pennsic is less likely than at
other events.
