Greetings all!

Our reservationist informs me that we are receiving reservations for A Winter's Tale (January 15, 2005) event and feast already. This is a reminder that we are seating 50 (!) feasters so if you'd like to partake of Lord Uilleam MacWylie's delectable cookery, now would be the time to reserve.

You can contact our reservationist: Baroness Eyrick of Hawkwood at dmacgregor9 at earthlink.net, 307 White Pine Drive, Asheville NC, 28805 or by calling her at 828-252-7756.

Tickets are $5 for site and $5 for feast ($10 for the day). Add the usual $3 if you are not a member. Make payment to: Barony of Hawkwood/SCA.

For those of you who would be attending but reside out of town, please let me or Baroness Eyrick know if you are looking for crash
space--we will do our utmost to make this available because we want *all* of our Barony and friends to be able to attend without concern about roads/driving conditions after dark and to be able to enjoy the feast without having to hurry home.

Below is the MENU from Lord MacWylie. Some of Hawkwood's populace have had the pleasure of tasting some or most of these dishes and can
attest to Lord MacWylie's skill as a cook--don't let the names or ingredients fool you--can you say YUMMY? You might notice a number
of cheese dishes--and recall that at the Feast of the Unicorn, Their Royal Majesties awarded Lord MacWylie and his ladywife Lady Marlein
the Coral Branch in part for their research and skill in reproducing period cheeses and here's your chance to find out why!...on this
note, I am proud to present
