Traditionally, we take this day to remember the contributions of the native peoples of this land that helped ensure the survival of our forefathers who first settled here. Today, may we also be thankful to our brothers and sisters in arms who are serving in various capacities around the world to ensure that our way of life is protected and that our people will continue to prosper.
