I share your gratitude for those who keep us safe


I am especially thankful today for those of you who have welcomed me back
after my forced absence. It is pleasant to know how one is thought of by
one's peers, and I shall never forget those who took time to say hello. I am
also grateful to those who didn't; at my age it is nice to know where you
stand with people.

peoples of this land that helped ensure the survival of our forefathers who
first settled here. Today, may we also be thankful to our brothers and
sisters in arms who are serving in various capacities around the world to
ensure that our way of life is protected and that our people will continue
to prosper.
