His Grace was a former Principal Herald of the East Kingdom, and one of 
the best court heralds our realm has ever known. His style as a court 
herald is something I try to emulate, though it cannot be truly copied.

I am sorry I never did get the chance to sing Gyrth the filk I wrote for 
him this year -- hopefully when I do get a chance to sing it for others, 
he'll be able to hear from where he's gone, and smile.
