[MR] Garb for sale on e-Bay

Please be very careful about purchasing garb from e-Bay, unless you have an agreement that if it isn't satisfactory, you can return it.  You just can't tell enough about its construction, etc. by looking at a picture.  One of my friends purchased a garment through e-Bay, and when it arrived, it was awful.  It was all sewn with thread that didn't match the fabric, the stitching was the longest available on a machine, it used lace that was out of period, and worst of all, it had three ties to hold the bodice on...not lacing, but actual ties, one at the top, one in the middle and one at the bottom!!!  I was horrified.  The lady brought it to a sewing meeting and asked us what to do.  We advised her to send it back.
