Good Evening,
As Their Majesties announced last night, the Free Scholars of the
Academie d'Espee will be hosting the Free Scholars Charity Tournament
this year at Ymir. This tournament will be raising money in the name of
the American Breast Cancer Foundation, a
most worthy cause. We have asked that the King and Queen, Prince and
Princess, the Baronies, and the Shires of the great Kingdom of Atlantia
select and send forth a Champion to participate in this tournament. We
have also asked that the Champion and their Patron(s) work to raise
money from the people of their lands. These funds shall be considered
the fee for entry into the tournament, and all funds raised will be
donated to the American Breast Cancer foundation.
It is my hope, as well as the hope of all the Free Scholars, that you
will donate to the Champion of your Area as well as to those of the
Crowns themselves, and encourage the Champions as they fight in the name
of this most noble cause.
I hope that you will contact your King and Queen, Prince and Princess,
Baron and/or Baroness, or Seneshal of your Shire about donating to this
most Noble Cause , and will be with us at Ymir to enjoy the day.
Thank you for your time.

----Invitation Contents ----
To the King and Queen, Prince and Princess, Barons and Baronesses, and
those Shires that reside within the boundaries of the Kingdom of Atlantia,
We, the Free Scholars of the Academie d'Espee, do cordially invite you
to send forth a Champion in the Arte of Rapier to represent you at the
Free Scholars' Charity Tournament, to be held at Ymir on the 14th day of
February, 2004.
This year we shall be competing in the name of the American Breast
Cancer Foundation, a most noble and honorable cause whose battle cannot
be won by force of arms, but through Charity, Diligence, and Sacrifice.
As such, we humbly ask that you and your Champion work to raise funds
from the people of your lands. These monies raised shall be the fee for
entry into the tournament, and all funds raised will be donated to the
American Breast Cancer Foundation. There shall be no minimum or maximum
amount set for the entry fee, but please remember that every penny
raised is needed in this fight.
A prize shall be awarded to that Champion who raises the most money for
this Noble Charity as well as to the winner of the tournament, made by
the hand of Her Grace Duchess Arielle the Golden. The true winner
however shall be the Kingdom of Atlantia, which displays great Honor and
Charity by aiding in the fight against breast cancer.
We hope you will be able to send forth a Champion, and that you may
support and encourage them as they take the field at tournament.
Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me at your
convenience.
