Ice Castles XXI

January 22, 2005
Barony of Black Diamond

The Yule season has past, the winter storms have arrived, and our beloved
Barony prepares to celebrate its XXIth birthday. Inspired by the ascension
of Good King Wenceslas of Bohemia to the throne of Poland in 1300 AD, we
turn our eyes to the east. Calling all Russ, Poles, and Bohemians to join in
our revels, the Barony of Black Diamond cordially invites you to join us for
the celebration!

Martial Activities: Heavy tournaments include traditional three-on-three
tournament. Rapier Tournaments TBA. Tabletop siege competition. Target
Archery and Thrown Weapons if weather permits.

A&S: Scroll Competition, Sponsored by the Royal Scrivener: The focus of the
competition will be illuminated letters. Entrants will be judged solely on
the illuminated letter. We're looking for the most intricate and period

welcome.
