I am forwarding this event announcement from another
list. Lady Caterina and I attended last year (it was a
9 hour drive from Windmasters Hill) and it was
AMAZING! Textile people from Aethelmarc, the East,
Atlantia...and a great little site.

Greetings unto the weavers, spinners, dyers,
costumers, textile
historians and general string junkies of the SCA!

The Shire of Nithgaard in the Kingdom of AEthelmearc
(State College,
PA) will once again be hosting Fiber, Fabric and
Fighting on November 
19-21, in Lamar, PA (easily accessible from I-80).

Last year, the first time this event was held, we had
teachers from
4 Kingdoms instructing us in tablet weaving, sprang,
naalbinding,
fingerloop braiding, making buttons, spinning of
various fibers,
silk reeling, and oh, so much more!

For the less stringy, there will once again be single
and melee 
tournaments held in a proper medieval style.
