Actually,
that's 'Barra' as in the island, not the Mistress/Countess/she who
outranks herself/Bera. (grin)
Glad the pattern came in handy. I dont' know whether it's period or not
either, it's just something i've seen others wear throughout the knowne
worlde & the last 12 years that I've been in the SCA.
Just so happens I was wearing my household colors via gored coathardie
also! lol
