[MR] Milk Paint

Greetings Atlantia!

Has anyone here used milk paint?  My Lord and I have bought a day shade and 
we would like to paint designs on the dags and such.  The material is a 
water resistant/fire-proof synthetic something. :)
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

PS - I did call the manufactures, and when I said we wanted to paint it they 
said, "You want to do what?!?"  They had no suggestions other than not oil 
paints.
