Woodworkers (and woodworker wannabes) of Atlantia,
The upcoming University session will offer several opportunities for those
with sawdust in their veins (or heads) to indulge:
110 Carving Linenfold Paneling
208 Bow Making
321 Timber to Lumber: the basics of green woodworking
519 Woodworkers Roundtable Part 1: Tools, Materials, and Finishes
619 Woodworkers Roundtable Part 2: Furniture and Joinery.
The Roundtables are something of an experiment; I will bring some materials to
fuel discussion, but I'd like to strongly encourage anyone with tools,
furniture, research materials, etc. of interest to bring them to share. Done
something that's not worth a whole class? Bring it along and do a mini-class.
The topics for each hour are suggestions, but the discussions will go where
they will.
If anyone plans on attending and has particular questions or subjects of
interest, please drop me a line at tom at his.com and I'll try to put together
specific materials.
Novices and those with just an academic interest are also very welcome.
Your servant,
Findlaech mac Alasdair, OL
