Windmasters' Hill Baronial Champions
June 27-29, 2003

Come join us in the soft heat of midsummer on a crusade to find the most
worthy, most honorable, most talented among our number. Come to Andalusia, 12th
century Southern Spain, to see the dread Baron Rodrigo choose his next Baronial
Champions. Fighting scenarios will be designed by the current champions in
each proficiency, guaranteed to test the mettle of all comers so that His
Excellency, Rodrigo, may be assured the opportunity to choose the most worthy
of champions. All artisans of both static and performance arts and sciences
are welcome to show their art in its highest form, preferably following the
theme of Andalusian Spain 11-12th centuries. In addition to the Baronial
Champions, there will also be standard winners in all fields.

Come to see the glory that is the oldest barony in this fair kingdom of
Atlantia as we celebrate our history with an open display of regalia, awards,
and pictorial records. The evening will bring cooler temperatures and much
celebration, led by the Baron’s Beer to be sponsored by the Royal Brewer and
Flagon and Cask, the newly formed Baronial Brewing Guild.

NOTE TO ALL WISHING TO COMPETE FOR BARONIAL CHAMPION: You must be a citizen of
the Barony of Windmasters’ Hill and you must compete in at least three (3) of
the five (5) areas of competition – rapier combat, heavy combat, target
archery, static arts, and performance arts. A schedule for judging will be
published at a later date.
