Saturday, March 29, 2003 - Defending the Gate/Varus' Lost Golden Eagle    www.sudentur.org       Barony of Stierbach/Incipient Canton of Sudentur, Fredericksburg, VA

Updates:

Feast has not sold out--yet, but only a few spaces remain.  If you haven't sent in your reservations already, check with Troll early Saturday.

Some wonderful items have been donated for the Silent Auction.  Don't forget to come by and bid on that much wanted item.

There will be a Bocce Tournament starting at 11 am.  This is open to all ages.

Lunch will offer a soup with meat and one with vegetables along with bread and cheese.

Site: The Lee Hill Community Center, 1 HCC Drive (Cosner Drive), Fredericksburg VA 22407.  The hall opens at 10am & closes at 10pm.  No alcohol or pets allowed.  Site is wheelchair accessible.   Parking limited, carpooling recommended.

Martial Activities:  Tournaments will be held for Heavy Weapons, Archery, Rapier, and Thrown Weapons.  List Tables will open at 10:30am, with authorizations/armor inspections to follow.   Marshall-in-Charge, Allen of Wolfhou (Allen Miller) wolfhou at hotmail.com or 540-361-7473 NLT 9pm.

Children's Activities: Children's Activities will be offered throughout the day.

Food:  A noonday meal will be available for purchase on site.

Feast Auction: Servers from the Renaissance Club of Mary Washington College will once again be auctioned off in the traditional style - limited quantities available.  If no server is purchased for your table, service will be at your own risk.  The Servers will be wearing Traditional Roman Attire.

Feast:  This fine Roman and Germanic Feast will be limited to 100 participants.  If you have dietary concerns, contact Soffya (Jeanne Papanastasiou) at jeanne at atasteofcreole.com or 540-657-1363, NLT 9pm.

Dancing: Dancing will be held immediately after feast, led by Lady Rowen ferch Rhys (Amy Smyth-Wilson).
