[MR] Italian Renn shoes

I was looking for info on Italian Renn shoes
(preferably c. 1480-1500 or so, but I'll take whatever
I can get) and have been coming up with next to
nothing. There've been a few paintings, but not many
even of those, no extant examples I've been able to
find, and no books I've seen. Does anyone out there
have any suggestions of good Italian shoe resources?
