[MR] Pentathlon/Triathlon Results FULL TEXT

My special thanks to all the competitors and judges on
Saturday--most especially those who answered my last
minute call for help in judging the entries!

And now for the results: (please forgive any
misspellings)

Honorable Mentions went to:
Sylvanus Perrin
Sveva Lucciola
Caterina Lucrezia de Bergamo
Master Calum
Ii (whose full Japanese name I can not spell without
help)

A special prize for presenting 'works of beauty' went
to Sophia Veronica, who used fimo clay to replicate
byzantine ivory carvings.

There was a tie for TRIATHLON CHAPMION: Katerina Sinja
and Amanda Franks. The judge who read Katerina's prose
entry commented that he would love to hear her perform
it some time (hint hint!) Amanda was also the winner
of the OUNG ARTIST CHAMPION competition.

Winner of the PENTATHLON CHAMPION was Clare Hele, who
incidentally won last year's Artist's Champion slot.
This year's ARTISTS CHAMPION is Torgquil MacTaggert, a
true golf enthusiast.

And a final note: Several competitors have agreed to
have their written materials posted on line to
accompany the pictures I took of their entries. All
competitors are welcome to do this, and I hope to
contact them all shortly.
