[MR] [HERALDRY] Current Working Timelines for Heraldry Submissions

Unto the Crown, Peers, and Populace of Atlantia does Gorm of Berra,
Golden Dolphin Herald, send greetings:

Recently, I have received a flood of "What's going on with my
submission?" e-mails.  Although I am happy to answer them (and I believe
I have answered them all, if you sent one and haven't gotten a response,
please resend it, Direcway had some mail server issues over the last few
weeks), it would save everyone some time and aggrivation if I explain
the timelines again.

So, this is where things stand:

Kingdom Level:  If we received your submission before November 30, 2002,
you should have received a notification letter from Metron Ariston
Herald, Atlantia's Notification Deputy (Alisoun MacCoul of Elphane)
explaining the Kingdom's results.

If we received it in December, it was judged and sent to Laurel or
Returned in January.  Due to some Mundane Issues with my life, the
notifications for these have not yet gone out.  I am hoping that Alisoun
will receive the information she needs to send them out early this week.

If you sent it in 2003, either January or February, it is being judged
by Kingdom today (the meeting starts in 2 hours, in fact).  The
notifications for that meeting will go out early this week.

My files indicate that at this point, there are only two submissions
where this timeline is not accurate, these are Order Names and Badges
for Tir-Y-Don, which were pended for more research in January.  They
will be being dealt with today, and will be in the March notifications.

If you do not believe you have gotten the notification or information
you should have, based on the above timeline, please feel free to ask me
via e-mail or phone.  If the last thing you have heard is "Your
submission has been pended" and you are NOT the Seneschal or Herald of
Tir-Y-Don, let me know ASAP please, as it is possible your file was
misfiled.

Laurel Level:  Laurel Notifications ordinarily run about 7 months behind
Kingdom Notifications.  We have *just* received the Laurel Letter for
December, 2002, which dealt with submissions sent in by Atlantia in
August.  These were the submissions I received in July.  Alisoun also
receives those same Letters, and she sends out the letters as quickly as
she is capable.

Pennsic Submissions were processed by Atlantia in September and October
(Most in September).  I anticipate receiving notice of those results at
the end of March and April, respectively.
