At the present time, a Patent of Arms cannot be given out except as part
of a peerage. If you got County rank in a kingdom where it does not come
with a Patent (or at least, not automatically), the crown cannot go back

The Order of Chivalry includes both Knights and Masters of Arms. Let's
be careful about this.
