Mistress Deirdre O'Siodhachain and Mistress Genna inghean Broanain ui Amoinn wish to announce the start of an ongoing competition of which they are the patrons, for the best documented and executed period-style scroll, i.e. a scroll done in the manner of a legal document such as a writ, grant of arms, grant of land, etc. This may include authenticity of text as well as calligraphy and decoration.
The first round of the competition will be judged at Kingdom A&S Festival, and thereafter at Coronation, Kingdom 12th Night and perhaps at other widely-attended Kingdom events where displays of the arts and sciences are held.
The competition will continue until Deirdre or Genna (or judging substitute) can't stand the sight of each other anymore. The prizes shall be our praise and thanks. Oh, and a variety of quality scribal supplies donated by Mistress Genna.
