It would be most helpful if things like site changes or cancellations
of events made it to the on-line callendar as well in as timely a
fashion as possible.

I think the officer does a great job generally, but an update on a
cancelled or moved site event might save a lot of people a long and
expensive trip. Many years ago my wife and I arrived at one that was
-gone-.

I rarely have time to read Merryrose anymore, but I do notice changes
to some events which is -why- I still subscribe.

Perhaps there is an announcement list to which these things go instead
that is briefer than wading through all of Merryrose?

By the way, does anyone know the web address numerically of Geocities
servers? When that last server memory only virus was going around I
may have blocked Geocities webservers' sites in self-defense. I have
not been able to raise most of their pages since. I got about four
hack attacks that day and blocked all the last numbers of some of them
and I am wondering if I cut off access to all of them. I know some of
them seem to have eliminated the Nigerian Bank Fraud Spammers. I haven't
had a hack attack in about two weeks. ;)

Where can one go to look up numerical web addresses and learn who
they belong to?
