Thank you to all the folks who responded privately. Peeling off the paint
job like the latex face mask in a Mission Impossible movie was a fun idea,
but likely to be impractical. If I ever want to smuggle rare paintings
disguised as student artwork, or maybe have a getaway car that can change
colors, I now know how to do it. And, it might actually aid in painting
giant graphics. But, for a war trailer, it seems like more trouble than
it's worth.
One of the most valuable warnings was that these trailers are "frighteningly
easy to steal." Maybe having a garish paint job would be good for security.
