Greetings!

We were camped near a lovely family at Fool's War who had the most phenominal
period encampment. The gentleman makes all the wonderful boxes, chests, other
furniture pieces. His name is Malcolm Hawke, mka David Mullins. I could go into
detail on all of it but the most unusal and most mulit-purpose item was a cart.

It was large enough to put all of his armor and things he needed for the field
and lightweight enough he could pull it with almost no effort. I even gave it a
test. At the encampment it sat out front with a shield leaned up against it
looking spiff. On the field, once unloaded, he used two tent poles crossed and
braced in the body of the wagon to support the top of his dayshade. It was
really wonderful!

Here is the page where he found the pattern:

His does NOT break down - they have the truck /and/ trailer they take to
events. But surely some of our fine carpenters and woodworkers could figure out
how to conveniently collapse it for easy transport!

And he had several other wonderful little touches - if you'd like the full list
of his goodiesa nd patterns to peruse, let me know and I'll forward you the
email he sent me this morning.

YIS,
Sajah
