Subject: Tempore Atlantia - Baking competitions at Crown Tourney

Greetings unto Atlantia!

At the Fall Crown Tourney, under the auspices of the Tempore Atlantia,

Highlighted time period: CE 1493-1600

There will also be two (2) baking competitions sponsored by the Royal Baker,
Master Tirloch of Tallaght. One competition is for the adult bakers and the
second competition is for the children/teenagers of Atlantia.

Two categories of foods are required:
1)    a bread appropriate to the holiday season;
2) an edible dessert subtlety to reflect the autumn season.

   Besides having a taste of each available for the judges, please be
prepared to reserve a set of your entries for presentation during the
evening feast.

Documentation is required to score well in any of the competitions. Period
versions of the recipes you use are required. If you use your own
redactions, you should document why substitutions were done.

If you need any assistance or clarification, please do not hesitate to
contact Master Tirloch at tirloch at sca.org.
