[MR] Thai silk source

OK! After reading up on several sites about how Thai silk is made, and the
differences in the weave, plus looking at different images and compairing
them to what ethaimarket sells, here are my conclusions.
'Crust' refers to rough weave, which produces a slub effect, more like
Dupioni, but not as stiff, and with a heavier weave.

As for which silk I was referring to, there is the 'crust' silk, and the
1-ply and crust silk which they also refer to as raw silk.
I honestly don't know what the difference is. I hvae put in an inquiry
regarding a mor elaborate explainantion. If they reply, I will forward it
to the list.
