 I can verify that's the situation with this site.  It's a camp for handicapped children, so they are very particular that no holes be created in the ground which might cause the children to trip and fall.  They are stretching their rules to allow for period pavillions.
If you want to come to the event, but are not comfortable staying in the cabins and have only a modern tent, I suggest contacting the autocrat. There's a possibility that he may be able to work out something with you.  Contact me off-line, and I can put you in touch with Primus.
